This coat is for the sportsman rough on his clothes yet refined when he’s off the Ranch. Crafted in incredibly lightweight goat suede, it's stronger than cowhide while also being softer to the touch. Rather than a tag inside the collar, we debossed the King Ranch logo for ultimate comfort and subtle sophistication. The durable buttons are made from the seeds of the Tagua palm, known as Corozo or vegetable ivory for its striking resemblance to ivory. Essential yet elevated, it’s designed to stand the test of time.

My instant favorite piece of clothing. Buy one size down. I am a medium to large in everything else I buy, but the small is what fits me, as a 40 R kind of sized guy.

Well made, color deceiving

Very good hide, strong and smooth; cutting and stitching precise. The sleeve lining is an excellence touch. I like everything about this jacket, but one thing: based on the catalogue photos I expected it to be in a lighter hue. The browner reality lacks the same class, looks like almost any skin coat. Maybe it will lighten with time; that would be a surprise, since I expect it naturally to darken. At the price point, I wouldn’t buy it again, though I’m sure it has years of life in it.
