Heritage Field Jacket

It’s disappointing that this great Texas brands products are being made in China! The cost savings from manufacturing in China isn’t reflected in the price.

Apparently the trim in the jacket is not colorfast. When the jacket gets wet the brown fabric on the cuffs, pocket flap, flap over the zipper and the label inside bleeds through the “waterproof” cotton of the jacket. Otherwise it is well made, with string stitching and a good zipper. The action back makes it comfortable.

Purchased the jacket and the first wash (as instructed) the darker brown lining throughout the coat bled into the lighter tan of the jacket. Coat went from being my lightweight nicer jacket to just one of other jackets I wear to do work on the ranch. Thought this was the one, now back to looking for a replacement.

Good looking coat. It's the right weight to take away the wind chill without restricting movement.
